Eventhough the world is still in the grip of the current pandemic we want to look forward and start making plans for the future. That’s why we are glad to announce the plans for our bi-annual summer camp.
Master Ko Sehwan will be teaching seminars in the Netherlands, Finland and Spain in September and October this year. Master Ko Sehwan has been invited by schools in these countries to share his knowledge of hankido and hankumdo.
Want to train martial arts in Korea? In the spring of 2018 our federation will host a two week hankimuye seminar at our new headquarters in Seosan, South-Korea. Two weeks filled with quality hankido, hapkido and hankumdo training.
In the summer of 2017 two seminars are scheduled by international instructor Ko Sehwan (6th dan). From June 12 until June 16 there will be an intensive weeklong seminar in Lohja, Finland. In August a full week seminar will take place in Urk, the Netherlands, starting Monday August 21.
Two instructors from our federation taught a weekend seminar in Finland from December 9 till December 11. Wim van der Linden and Klaas Barends were invited by Sami Munnuka to teach at the newly opened Finnish Hankido headquarters near Helsinki. We are glad to announce that three new schools have decided to join our organisation. After a weekend seminar on the Spanish island Mallorca the schools of Pedro Campillo Frontera, David Martinez and Carlos Leal Campón joined the World Hankimuye Federation. We welcome them to our family.
On May 21 and 22 master Ko Baek-yong will teach an introduction course to hankido on the island of Mallorca. In May master Ko will tour Europe to promote hankido and hankumdo, the seminar on the island is master Ko Baek-yong’s first visit to Spain.
In May master Ko Baek-yong will visit Europe to teach Hankido to members of the Dutch and Finnish Hankido schools. Here we will keep you updated on when and where seminars will take place.

After teaching in New York and Plattsburgh Klaas travelled to Texas on the invitation of Sangmookwan Texas. There Klaas was a guest of Tom Foucha who heads the Texas Hankido organisation.
