2022 Hankimuye Seminar Thailand
On May 1, 2022 Klaas Barends will teach another seminar in Bangkok at Martial Arts Academy Thailand. This school is run by master Attawiboon Kampansak who teaches hapkido, taekwondo and nunchaku.
Hankimuye Portugal
On the 30th of October instructor Klaas Barends will teach a seminar in Porto, Portugal. Klaas will teach a thorough introduction of both hankido and hapkido the way it is taught by our federation.
3rd anniversary of master Ko Baek-yong’s passing away
Master Ko Baek-yong passed away three years ago on October 5, 2017. This year on October 3 will we honor him, as we do every year, with a special training assignment. We ask the members of our organisation to add the following to their training on that day:
Hankimuye Master Course 2019
From September 30 until October 5 the first Hankimuye Master Course took place at the headquarters of our federation in South-Korea. The goal of this event was to discus the future of our federation and to set a course for the following years.

New certification program
Our federation’s leaders have developed three new certification programs. Next to rearranging the black belt requirements for hankido and hankumdo a new instructor certification program is introduced.
Hankimuye Spring Training
Want to train martial arts in Korea? In the spring of 2018 our federation will host a two week hankimuye seminar at our new headquarters in Seosan, South-Korea. Two weeks filled with quality hankido, hapkido and hankumdo training.
8th dan for Leon de Heus
Leon de Heus tested in front of master Ko Baek-yong and master Yang Yong-seok for his eight dan at the future headquarters of the World Hankimuye Federation. Leon was invited to test for this eight dan earlier this year and the test was supposed to take place in the Netherlands.
