Both members and non-members of our federation are welcome to join. In the first week you will stay at our training facility in the Korean countryside. The bustling city of Seoul is where we will spend the second week.

Program

Participants are expected to arrive in Korea before or on April 27, 2025. If possible we’d recommend you come a bit early, to get adjusted to the climate. On Monday 28 we will travel to the city of Seosan from Incheon Bus Terminal. In the countryside of Chungcheong-namdo we will spend our first week at the hankimuye training facility in the hills. There will be four training sessions each day.

Week 1

We start the day at 7:00 with a morning run and breathing exerices. After breakfast around the clock of 10 there will be a two hours training session. In the afternoon at 4 o’clock the third training session of the day will start, and we end the day with another training at 8 in the evening. The focus of the training will be the core hankimuye curriculum with extra attention to striking and grappling during the second and third training. Master Ko Sehwan, head instructor of the World Hankimuye Federation, will teach all classes in person.

Week 2

On Saturday May 3 we will head back up to Seoul. There we will stay in the Mokdong area near the main hankimuye gym in Seoul. You can spend the Saturday afternoon and Sunday at your own leisure.

On Monday morning we kick the week off with another training at 9 in the morning. During the day you will have the chance to either explore Seoul on your own or with other members of the group. Make sure you are back at 8 o’clock in the evening for the second training of the day. This will be the rythm during the second week of the camp. There will be an oppertunity to join a Gyeoksuldo training on Wednesday morning with master Nam Gi-seok.
